Job Title: Internal Medicine Specialist
Job Summary: Al Reem Group is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Specialist to provide expert care in diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases and conditions that affect internal organs. The Internal Medicine Specialist will focus on adult patients, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and coordinating care with other specialists when needed. This role requires a deep understanding of complex medical conditions and the ability to provide personalized care to each patient.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat complex medical conditions affecting internal organs, including chronic diseases and acute illnesses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies in line with established medical guidelines.
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers and specialists to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging, and other specialized tests.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Stay current on medical research, treatment advancements, and healthcare guidelines in internal medicine.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members about treatment progress and medical options.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- DOH licensed Internal Medicine Specialist is a must
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and board certification in Internal Medicine
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or similar medical setting
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating complex internal diseases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software
- Strong understanding of Abu Dhabi healthcare regulations and standards
- Immediate availability preferred
