Job Title: Pediatric Specialist

Job Summary: Al Reem Group is seeking a full-time Pediatric Specialist to provide specialized medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. The Pediatric Specialist will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of childhood illnesses, ensuring the health and well-being of young patients. This role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and educating families on proper child healthcare practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat illnesses, infections, injuries, and other health problems in infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans focused on the specific needs of pediatric patients.
  • Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies as per medical guidelines.
  • Monitor and track the progress of patients, adjusting treatment plans when necessary.
  • Perform routine check-ups and preventive care, including vaccinations and growth assessments.
  • Educate parents and guardians on childhood illnesses, nutrition, preventative care, and child development.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to pediatric care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in pediatric care.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine and healthcare guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members about treatment options and care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, procedures, and ethical standards.


Qualifications:

  • DOH licensed Pediatric Specialist is a must
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and board certification in Pediatrics
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pediatric medical setting
  • Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating childhood illnesses
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and families
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software
  • Strong understanding of Abu Dhabi healthcare regulations and standards
  • Immediate availability preferred
